Happy Mother’s Day, Moms. Thank you.

Godly, practical moms rock ..in the right Way. You know what I mean.

“She extends a helping hand to the poor and opens her arms to the needy.. She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her.. Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.”

What exactly does a lit candle lose by lighting another candle that really needs some fire? What does a Christian person lose by passing along fiery zeal for Jesus on to another person really needing such? Freely we’ve received, freely give.

Healthy, well-fed, properly cared-for sheep naturally reproduce ..and other ones not so much.

The spiritual shepherd’s role is to be strong, stay in close harmonious contact with the Chief Shepherd, to lead in the right direction, to prayerfully do the prep-work and feed the sheep (keepin’ all poisons out).. without respect of one over another one, and not to merely tickle the fuzzy itching ears of all those theological giraffes, would-be thoroughbred horses and thick-headed mules who seem to take great pleasure in obfuscating, in complicating and in making uber-deep the Bible teachings that God meant to have clearly taught with simplicity.

Jesus said to Simon son of Jonah, “Feed My sheep” (kjv) “Tend My sheep” (nkj) “Take care of my sheep” (nlt) “Shepherd My sheep” (His, not yours or mine. nasb). John 21:16

What are you doing, being fed, and feeding to others? Where are you being led, and by whom?

Why be some fearful secret agent believer or an online bombarding religious spammer when you can become an effective e-missionary

"You know, the most difficult thing in the world is trying to be something God didn’t make you and to fulfill a ministry God didn’t give you. But the most wonderful thing in the world is to be just what God has made you and to do just what God wants you to do. That’s just coasting, that’s glorious. So many times I found myself trying to be something God didn’t make me. And God had to teach me I can’t be something He didn’t make me. I’ve got to be what He made me to be. I’ve got to be obedient to His calling upon my life. And so God works in each of us. He is working in you, He’s preparing you. He’s given you the background, He’s given you those experiences, all part of God’s plan as He is working out His eternal purposes in your life. And as you yield yourself to Him, the picture will begin to unfold and you’ll begin to see exactly the purpose and the plan that God has for you. It’s a wonderful life when it’s committed fully to Jesus Christ."

“Winning at golf” doesn’t really take care of everything Tiger… as Nike publicly tells you / us it does.

Have you seen that Nike’s ad? Don’t get me wrong…

Winning is kinda cool. Trophies last for a short time, gather dust, and some would enjoy them… for sure. I’d of course rather win that lose. Who wouldn’t? But Nike and Tig.. it’s really the cross of Christ, not “winning” down here at golf, that literally “takes care of everything.”

“We all live under the same sky, but we don’t all have the same horizon.” ~ Konrad Adenauer

In which direction are your closest friends lookin’ towards and headed in? In which of two kingdoms do they currently reside? What do you live for ..what or who is your master passion?

Just got a minute here… P.  Yes, on earth just like it happens in heaven, O King of all! I agree that Your plan succeed in and through me here. Love, joy, peace, real truth - yeah, make me an agent of this kinda stuff. Come Thine, go mine.. kingdom I mean. I don’t have to rule, naww, don’t wanna lead me “as Lord.” What good is it if I usurp  You can be my CEO - Your eyes, ears, mind and heart work much better. Increase, and let me decrease. Yup.

For many people it’s mere pie-in-the-sky talk, not with me. There’s evidence. And I love that word, “horizon” - it’s that slightly curved line, that circular boundary at which the earth’s surface ..where people actually live.. and heaven comes down to meet. It’s where they hook-up if ya will, and it can happen with you today. It’s not merely about talkin’ it, it’s about living in the truth. Yeah, I’m always glad when it’s more than mere theory or ideas, and the real rubber practically meets the road so to speak.

Daily wanna see a true meet-up and live at that good horizon with the warmth of the Son. “Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Glad for that tree and Him who on it rescued me!

They tried hard, but couldn’t keep this good man down. Nope, He is risen as He said.

He experienced death+ ..we experience life+. My old life for a new one. A really great exchange—how ridiculously cool is that!

Good Friday—certainly good for us! Looking in the Old Testament.. with well over 300 Messianic prophecies fulfilled and over 100 distinct prophecies about Jesus Christ’s death on the cross. Feel really glad about what followed. Life! Eye witnesses!

i.e., Psalm 22:17-18 says, “I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.”

Later John 19:23 says, “When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.” The #Bible is so accurate huh!

"We the Church…. actually need to repent for the most part..of loving this world’s system, of being religious when God ain’t, of faithless snoring if ya will..all asleep in the light, of lukewarmness, of uber-harshness, of personal lazy-permissiveness, of immature carnality, of gettin’ distracted as friends sink downwards, for allowing masquerading money-grubbin’ false teachers into our congregations and homes (via media) …and we also need to effectively reflect the true joy and light of Jesus Christ in this present darkness."

k

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

Jesus said, “I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark.”

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
